Sahar Hashim

Sahar was born in Baghdad and moved to Erbil in 2008. She is a sales manager for Global Media, an Iraqi company that creates television advertisements.

She takes pictures all the time, but before starting The Tiziano Project Sahar never felt that she could photograph or use multimedia professionally. She hopes that her new skills will change that.

"I hope that I can use what I've learned at my work. But for me it's most important to be able to take pictures and record memories of my life and family in a way that satisfies me and that I can show to others."
