Abdinasir Mohamed is a journalist, writer, and photographer. He started working as a journalist in 2005 with local radio & television stations, and has since worked his way up the journalistic ranks to freelance for Reuters, the Wall Street journal, CNN, The Independent UK, Times London, Daily Telegraph and Skynews. He is also the Political Chief Editor at the Suna Times, an online news publication reporting from Somalia.
Abdinasir is a Tizano reporter and mentee and has the following to say about his involvement the project: "Society is always taken by surprise at any new example of common sense. I was attracted by the innovation of Tiziano to help journalists."
His interests include humanitarian issues, war reporting and travel. He has visited Kenya, Ethiopia, Djibouti and Dubai.
