Rasti Brimo was born in Erbil and is pursuing a degree in media at the University of Kurdistan - Hawler.
Her journalism studies at the school are predominantly theoretical, so she is excited to get hands-on training in reporting techniques and programs that she can use to tell stories in her community and pass her skills on to others.
"In this workshop I will meet students that study media too. After The Tiziano Project is over we can do something together, we can make workshops in our school so anyone can get the information and benefit from this training."
